Maths
In maths we have started our new maths topic on shape. We have been looking at different turns, such as a quarter turn, half turn, three-quarter turn and a full turn. We then looked at what a right angle is and how we identify these.
English
This week we have been recapping our learning on inverted commas and looking at how we use these in sentences. We then looked at retelling the story Ingenious Edie and how we can uplevel our sentences using fronted adverbials, adverbs and expanded noun phrases.
Art
We have started our topic on using 3D shapes to make abstract sculptures. We used cardboard to make a range of 3D shapes and connected them together without using glue or cellotape.
