In preparation for moving up to Year 3, this week we have been learning all about kingfishers in English! This has involved doing lots of work around non-fiction texts and features, reading facts and gathering information. We have started to write fact files on kingfishers which we will complete these next week.
In Maths, we have been revisiting a different revision topic each day, recapping key parts of the Year 2 National Curriculum for Maths and ensuring we are secure in everything before we break up. Some of these topics include: fractions, multiplication and division, number bonds to 100 and reading scales.
Finally, the event which all the children were super excited for this week... the colour run! What an afternoon! I'll let the photographs do the talking...
