Check below for resources to support your child's learning

CGP books CGP books are really useful to revision at home. They provide useful explanations for the topics covered as well as answers. We would recommend the maths, grammar and reading comprehension books, depending on what you would like your child to focus on.n ones.

Reading

Support your child's comprehension by asking questions to develop their retrieval, inference, prediction and summary skills.

Nessy Some children will have a login to this if they need additional support with reading. Please get in contact if your child has lost their login or whether you feel like your child would benefit from having a login.

Spelling

Spelling Shed Practise your weekly spellings and get our class on the leaderboard!

Touch typing

Dance Mat Typing A free BBC resource that helps develop typing. This can support children with their IT skills but also can be recommended for those with dyslexia.

Maths

Times Tables Rockstars A fun way to practise your times tables, increase your rockstar status and get our class on the school leaderboard!

MTC simulator An additional resource (TTRS uses the same format) to help Year 4 children ready for the Multiplication Tables Check in June.

Maths Shed Use the same login as Spelling Shed and use it to help practise mental arithmetic such as multiplication, division and number bonds! You can also do lessons on some of the concepts that your child has found tricky.
