  • Year 1 Trip to Sudbury

    Wed 23 Oct 2024 S Tague

Yesterday our Hedgehogs went on a fantastic trip to Sudbury Children's Country House to enhance their history topic. They learnt about childhood and toys through the years through interactive sessions. The children loved the trip and learnt a great deal to help them with their topic. Their behaviour was perfect of course! Thanks to all the adults that helped on the trip too.

  • KS2 School Councillors at the Repton British Legion

    Fri 18 Oct 2024 K Riley

Our KS2 school councillors went to the Repton British Legion today to do an important job.  They assembled and filled many poppy boxes ready to be sent out across South Derbyshire, ready to be sold for Remembrance Day.  They were perfectly behaved and did a fantastic job in record time!  As a reward, they were given two special poppy pin badges.  Thank you to Zandra and Chris from the Repton British Legion for inviting us.

  • Global Schools' Project

    Wed 16 Oct 2024 S Tague

We have been part of the Global Schools' Project for a few years now linked with Kids' League Kenya. This project gives our children the opportunity to meet up with children from Kenya online and learn more about their school and culture. In the summer I had the privilege of visiting the schools in Kenya that we are twinned with. Yesterday, the staff met online to discuss the next stage and focus of the project. We shared our start to the new term and the things we are focussing on.

  • Repton School Art Workshop

    Fri 11 Oct 2024 S Tague

On Thursday (10th October) a group of talented artists from RPS were invited to an art workshop in Repton School's art studio. Mr Whitfield and his team welcomed our artists and they enjoyed a fantastic session which allowed them to be creative and get messy! The children explored with plaster of Paris and colours to create different textures. The children were focussed and thoroughly enjoyed the session - their behaviour was perfect - well done. See the pictures below.
