  • Summer Fayre 2019 raises over £1800!

    Mon 08 Jul 2019 S Tague

Our Summer Fayre on Saturday was a fantastic event which raised a monumental amount of money - over £1800! The event ran like clock work despite the weather trying to put a dampener on it! This would not have happened without the meticulous organisation by our PTA and the support of you our community that turned out. This event will get better and better each year (if that is even possible) so if you'd like to help with the next one see Adam Hough (PTA Chair) for more details.

    BIG BIG THANK YOU PTA!

  • Key Stage 1 Sleepover

Mon 24 Jun 2019 Mr Tague
Well done to our Year 1 and 2 children who successfully slept over at school last Friday. Their behaviour was fantastic and although some were quite late getting to sleep the event was enjoyed by all. Every child got to toast marshmallows and make the famous Repton Primary 'Smors' along with popping corn over the fire pit! Well done to all and to those that have helped!

Year 4 took part in a fantastic singing workshop today at Repton School. Our Merlins worked collaboratively with children from independent schools including St Wystan's and performed a number of songs to a very high standard. Thank you to Miss Hobbs for organising this for Merlins and to our parents who came and watched.

On Monday 10 of our Year 3 and 4 children competed in the Prominent Cup at Melbourne Sports Ground. This was a very competitive 6-a-side football tournament with some very strong teams. Although we didn't win the cup our children played well, displayed perfect sportsmanship and definitely performed through our whole school values.
  • World Book Day

Mon 11 Mar 2019 Mr Tague
As usual Repton Primary School got fully involved and supported World Book Day this year. The children looked amazing in their costumes and completed some super English work around WBD. All staff participated too. Thank you for supporting our school for WBD.

Tue 05 Feb 2019 Mr Tague
This week we collected the next species of fish from Findern Garden Centre for our fish tank. The Year 3 children that collected them really enjoyed looking at all the fish. Our children even got to feed some of the tropical fish!
  • Year 3 and 4 Sports Hall Athletics

Mon 04 Feb 2019 Mr Tague
On Friday 1st February some of our Year 3 and 4 children competed in an athletics competition at Greenbank Leisure Centre. Although we didn't win the competition our children performed at a high level and their behaviour was exceptional. Each and everyone of the children lived up to our core values of Respect, Pride and Success. Thank you to Miss Jordan for organising the event and giving children this opportunity.

Year 3 are into their 4th week of their exciting Fish Keeper Fry project. This amazing project, sponsored by Maidenhead Aquatics,  lasts for 8 weeks and each week the children learn another aspect of keeping fish. We have built the tank up and last week we actually collected our first fish. We will be collecting more fish this week!
  • Year 1 Endangered Animals!

Thu 31 Jan 2019 Mr Tague
Year 1 had a special visitor into school to help them launch their Endangered Animals Topic. Their visitor was the famous animal expert James McKay. He brought in some of his special animals that are considered to be endangered in the wild. Children got the chance to learn all about these animals and handle them to really understand what they are like. The children's behaviour and manners were exceptional. Well done!
